I was tired of paying ridiculous prices for firearms in local gun shops so in January 2008 I applied for a Federal Firearms License as a dealer.
I wanted the opportunity to save the public and myself some of our hard earned money. I thought by opening my own business I could help others in need of a FFL holder. I enjoy meeting new people and this business gives me that opportunity on a daily basis.
On May 01, 2008 I opened my official business as HHB Tasers & More. Since then I changed the name to HHB Guns, LLC
I have been in the US Coast Guard since 1999. I am currently an instructor at the maritime law enforcement academy and have a great knowledge of federal laws and regulations concerning firearms.
I am also a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for Dorchester County since 2005 which has given me knowledge in state laws and regulations concerning firearms.
I have also pursued other professional development outside the military and sheriff's office. In June of 2006 I attended Taser Internationals instructor course and became a Taser Instructor. I have trained over 70 deputies in the safe use of the X26 device and have also been certified as an X26c instructor therefore allowing me the chance to train civilians in the safe use of their tasers.
